Supporting Our Communities: NYOG Sponsors Clarkson University COGO Winter Festival

Vermont Rail System’s New York & Ogdensburg Railway was pleased to be a sponsor of Clarkson University’s second annual “Cold-Out Gold-Out” winter festival held on February 3 and 4, 2017. Throughout the weekend the NYOG logo could be found on t-shirts and on sponsor boards at the venues. Over 4,000 people participated in the festival. The event saw a wide range of winter activities held on campus and in downtown Potsdam, New York. It included an outdoor alumni hockey game, dog sled rides, fireworks, ice sculptures, and Clarkson men’s hockey team playing St. Lawrence University.

Vermont Rail System is committed to supporting our neighbors. We are an important part of the economic and transportation history of many of the towns and cities along our routes. Through corporate giving, we seek to go beyond that to enhance the livability of the communities we serve. Support of cultural events, like the COGO Winter Festival, make life more enjoyable for all.
